I started out making soap in Portland, Oregon. On rainy days my favorite thing to do was to turn on some music and make soap in my little flat. Soap making was my hobby all through college and still is, even now. I specialize in cold process soap making which is a rustic style of turning fats and or oils into soap. Back then I would stir every batch by hand and spent many afternoons stirring a pot of soap that would eventually tun into perfection or turn into something unexpected. Trial and error is key when you indulge into a trade like this. I looked forward to every experiment and became passionate about every batch.
